Menopause Symptoms

Menopausal symptoms can begin and last three to five years before and after changes to a woman’s menstrual cycle (when you haven’t had a period for 12 months in a row) or can begin after certain medical procedures, such as removal of the ovaries. While symptoms and their severity vary between people, common menopause symptoms include irregular periods, hot flashes, sleeping problems, sore breasts, urination issues, dry skin, depression, and anxiety.
